TASO Portal and Test



  • Introduction.
    TASO is proud to offer its members the exclusive use of the TASO Member's Portal. Inside the Member's Portal, TASO members will be able to find:

    • Their personalized information and the sport(s) they officiate
    • Chapter information
    • News and events
    • Clinic & contact information
    • Rules and Mechanics Information
    • Secure web messaging system to communicate with State TASO officials and local chapter administrators
    • Sport specific calendar of events
    • The ability to update your personal contact information once you are logged into the site
    • Online rules testing

  • How we protect your privacy.
    The Member's Portal is a personalized private web site that is accessed from a link entitled "Member's Portal" from the TASO public website. It requires a unique user name and password for access. The Member's Portal uses the same encryption and (SSL) Secure Socket Layer technology used to conduct financial transactions online, giving members the ultimate in privacy and information security on the Internet. Once you are on a secure page, as indicated by the small yellow lock in the lower right hand corner of your browser, all data transmissions are encrypted.

  • TASO Portal Access
    • All paid members and members in good standing will have access to their member’s portal page once their dues are received in the TASO office. Dues must be submitted trhough the local chapter
    • Access to the Member’s Portal is through the TASO website at www.taso.org.
    • The username for each member is their TASO ID number. This number will be supplied to you by your chapter secretary.
    • The password for each member is initially a default password – TASO2002 (all caps, no space). Once a member logs on the first time, they will be prompted to enter a new password.
    • Once members are inside the member’s portal, the web-pages for their respective sport(s) are accessible by clicking on the sport name on the right side of the desktop page under the heading “My TASO Links.” Members can still access the public side page for that sport by clicking on the sport name on the left side of the screen.
    • To change their demographic data in the membership record, members should log on through the members’ portal, click on Edit Account, make changes, and click Submit.
    • To change a password, members should log on through the member’s portal, click on Edit Account, click on Change Password, and click O.K. They will be logged off and they should log back on with their old password as once they do, they will be prompted to change and confirm the new password.
    • To get their password reset, members should click on “Forgot Password?” and follow the instructions on the page – being sure to include their name, TASO ID number, and e-mail address.


  • <>Taking the Test.
    • Log-in to members portal (www.taso.org) and click on the current year test date,
    • Test will change every two weeks and indicates next test date.
    • The test consists of 100 questions (true or false)
    • You are able to save and continue with the test during the current test dates, if test changes before you finish, retake test after the new test dates.
    • When you have completed test click submit and then return to your members portal page and scroll down to center of page to “TASO TESTS” and view the % passed and click on that % to view your answers.
    • You may take the test once during each two week test dates.

    Tarrant Chapter Secretary will verify from TASO all the results before Soccer season starts, please do not e-mail your results to Chapter Secretary.
